OSCAR BOYER

I graduated with a Master’s degree in Industrial Creation from ENSCI-Les Ateliers in 2024.
My approach is based on a careful observation of everyday life, where I seek to unearth details that are often ignored or considered trivial. By highlighting them, these elements become the starting point for my research.

TO RECONSTRUCT

Project with Camille Labourier, Victoire Lesthevenon and Simon Searle

To Reconstruct is to assemble fragments into a narrative. This lamp comes in two versions: a battery-powered reading lamp and a ceiling lamp, both sharing a suspended element. The diffuser, carved from a single block of alabaster, evolves differently in each: the reading lamp gradually erodes through use and touch, while the ceiling lamp remains intact, revealing the passage of time by contrast.
